This year the Scarlet Plums did something very special for Big Valley Days. A few days prior to the event they got together to decorate red umbrellas. Out came the purple flowers, red feathers, scarlet fringe, plum lace and anything else they could find to add a little spice to their float.

On June 24th they boarded a flat bed trailer that was adorned with a banner that said it all..."Scarlet Plums - Full of Fun". Ten of the Scarlet Plums put on their red and purple attire and reminded the community that they should squeeze joy out of every moment in life!
