After several years of being closed, the Adin Inn recently opened up again under new management. The Scarlet Plums met at the Inn on the evening of October 24th to enjoy a wonderful dinner.
The meal was served family style. First the ladies enjoyed a little of the house red wine. Soon some fresh bread and soup was served, followed by salad and a beef tip and pasta dish. When the entrees arrived the room went quiet as everyone enjoyed their dinner. Some had shrimp scampi, others enjoyed prime rib or New York steak.
The Plums discussed some of their upcoming events, including the 2nd annual Thanksgiving Dinner, the 2nd annual Red Hat Christmas and the 2nd annual Wine and Chocolate Rendezvous.
One Plum asked whether their would be a 2nd annual High Tea. With the success of the events and the support received by so many wonderful women, how could there not be. |
