On November 6th, several of the Scarlet Plums headed to  Reno to see Debbie Reynolds. Little did they know they would be seeing her up close and in person. While enjoying her show Sunday evening, one of the Scarlet Plums tipped the maitre d' and asked him to deliver a note to Ms. Reynolds. The note explained that the Scarlet Plums were in the audience and that they wanted to make her an honorary Red Hatter.
After the show, they asked the maitre d' if he had delivered the note. He said he had, and then he headed back stage to see if the Scarlet Plums could come back and see Ms. Reynolds in person. Before they knew it, they were having their picture taken with her and telling her how much they loved her show.
"Going to Reno to see Debbie Reynolds was fun by itself, but being able to see her in person and have our picture taken with her was icing on the cake!", said one Plum. |
