The first annual Autumn Nights in Adin was held on September 25, 2004. The Scarlet Plums were an integral part of the success of this event. Autumn Nights was held at Adin Supply, an old general store that was purchased by Steve and Julie Gagnon in 2004 and restored to its old time granduer. The parking lot was decorated with hay bales and old fashioned gas lamps. The menu included german bratwurst, bar-b-que beef sandwiches, salads, wine and beer. The Scarlet Plums provided the apple pies and ice cream for dessert. It was a perfect way to usher in the autumn season and enjoy the company of friends and neighbors.
